As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our team. This role is pivotal in supporting our HR functions and ensuring a positive work environment for our employees. The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for administering the 401(k) program and benefits administration, which includes managing enrollments, changes, and terminations. This position will also involve processing necessary documents through payroll and insurance providers to maintain accurate records and ensure proper deductions. The HR Generalist will manage time and attendance processes, oversee visa program compliance, and handle OSHA and Workers Compensation requirements. Additionally, this role will provide customer service by addressing employee requests and questions, coordinate new employee onboarding, and initiate background checks for new hires. The HR Generalist will assist with the performance review process and compensation planning, support managers with employee relations issues, and collaborate with leadership to enhance employee engagement and morale. Payroll processing, including computing prevailing wage and overtime payments, will also be part of the responsibilities, along with data entry into payroll and labor management software. The HR Generalist will perform other general HR duties as needed and promote a cooperative and efficient working atmosphere across all divisions.

Responsibilities

  • Administer 401(k) program and benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
  • Process required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record keeping and proper deductions.
  • Manage time and attendance processes and records.

Requirements

  • Two plus years of experience within Human Resources preferred, but not required.
  • Bilingual abilities in Spanish and English required.
  • Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or similar, preferred but not required.
  • Attention to detail with high degree of accuracy.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills including working knowledge of Google Suite, Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to learn new software.
  • Experience working independently and with direction, with and without a team in a fast-paced environment.
