Responsibilities

  • Help shape company policies by supporting the development and implementation of HR procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies, keeping the organization aligned with best practices.
  • Conduct exit interviews and provide feedback to management. Represent the company, when needed, at unemployment hearings.
  • Conduct fair and thorough investigations into employee concerns to maintain a respectful work environment. Attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs. Ensure effective new employee on-boarding process. Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
  • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, partnering with HR management on complex and/or sensitive matters.
  • Maintain and optimize the company's employee database, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
  • Liaison between Talent Acquisition and management in the recruitment and selection of candidates.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience working in Human Resources.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
