About the position

EyeCare Partners is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to provide essential HR support to business operations within a designated region or division. This role is pivotal in managing various HR functions, including team member relations, policy interpretation, and acquisition and integration support. The HR Generalist will work closely with the Manager or Director of HR Business Partnerships and other senior HR leadership to ensure that HR practices align with the company's mission to enhance vision and improve lives. The successful candidate will demonstrate sound judgment and professionalism while managing multiple priorities throughout the day. In this position, the HR Generalist will oversee the onboarding processes for new team members, handle moderately complex HR issues, and assist in the creation and maintenance of HR documentation. They will be responsible for answering basic HR policy questions from team members, conducting exit interviews, and compiling summary data for management review. Additionally, the role involves processing HRIS status changes and maintaining accurate team member records, which are crucial for effective HR management. The HR Generalist will also develop strong working relationships with business leaders, serving as a trusted advisor on people-related issues. This includes assisting in employee relations activities, supporting FMLA and ADA cases, and providing assistance during the post-close integration process. The individual will be expected to reinforce EyeCare Partners' Mission, Vision, and Values with both leaders and employees, ensuring that HR practices are consistent with the organization's goals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the team member onboarding processes for assigned group.
  • Handle moderately complex issues and problems.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of HR forms or documents.
  • Answer basic team member questions about HR policies.
  • Conduct exit interviews and provide summary data.
  • Process HRIS status changes and maintain team member records.
  • Compile reports for management.
  • Develop effective working relationships with business leaders by demonstrating a solid understanding of the key drivers of the business.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders regarding people-related issues.
  • Assist in employee relations activities and/or investigations.
  • Support FMLA and ADA cases.
  • Provide support for the post-close integration process and assist with the implementation of the EyeCare Partners HRIS platform.
  • Develop knowledge and skills to reinforce the ECP Mission, Vision, and Values with leaders and employees.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 0 to 2 years of experience.
  • Oral and written communication skills.
