With over 100 locations and more than 400 OB/GYNs and specialists across the country, Womens Care offers comprehensive patient care in various fields including obstetrics, gynecology, gynecologic oncology, urogynecology, gynecologic pathology, breast surgery, genetic counseling, maternal fetal medicine, laboratory services, and fertility. The HR Generalist will play a crucial role in assisting the HR department in executing programs, processes, policies, and procedures. This includes responsibilities related to employee engagement, retention, onboarding, training, benefit administration, FMLA/leave of absence administration, employee recordkeeping, and ensuring compliance with state and federal employment laws. The HR Generalist will be responsible for processing employee records in accordance with employment regulations, supporting the performance management process, and assisting leadership in disciplinary management. Additionally, the role involves preparing and maintaining HR policies and procedures, including the employee handbook. The HR Generalist will perform routine tasks necessary to administer and execute human resource programs, which encompass compensation, benefits, leave management, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, morale, occupational health and safety, and training and development. The position requires handling employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, while referring complex or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff. The HR Generalist will also attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations, and prepare detailed reports on various HR metrics for internal use and leadership. Moreover, the HR Generalist will create, implement, and facilitate employee training and development sessions, manage personnel file maintenance, and assist with all required auditing preparation and delivery. The role includes participation in process improvement activities and collaboration with the HR team to enhance HR processes. The HR Generalist will be involved in onboarding and exit interviews, create and distribute internal communications regarding status changes, benefits, or company policies, and monitor and assist with the enhancement of employee engagement and company culture. Compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations is essential, as is staying updated with trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources and talent management. The HR Generalist will demonstrate and embody the Womens Care mission and core values, ensuring compliance with all HIPAA rules, regulations, and guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the HR department in carrying out programs, processes, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Human Resources, or related field required.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in Human Resources.
  • PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
  • Experience working with HRIS systems required; Paycom experience is a plus.
