About the position

The Human Resources Generalist at Ashley Furniture Industries is responsible for managing HR needs across supported business units, implementing best practices to achieve corporate objectives, and enhancing the employee experience. This role involves active engagement with employees, conducting feedback meetings, coaching supervisors, and facilitating training sessions, all within a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage HR needs for supported business units.
• Implement best practices to support corporate business objectives.
• Assist with employee and labor relations.
• Oversee performance management processes.
• Implement HR policies and procedures.
• Coach and mentor employees and supervisors.
• Conduct onboarding for new hires.
• Facilitate company training sessions.
• Engage with employees through feedback meetings.

Requirements

• 1+ years of Human Resources experience, including employee relations.
• Associate's Degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
• Knowledge of State and Federal employment laws.
• Understanding of basic OSHA safety practices and procedures.
• Familiarity with employee relations principles.
