The Human Resources Generalist at Elizabeth's New Life Center is a part-time position responsible for a variety of HR functions that encompass the full spectrum of human resources management. This role is designed for an individual who can effectively manage tasks related to hiring, training, recordkeeping, policy creation, compensation, benefits, and payroll. The position requires a commitment to the organization's core beliefs, which are rooted in Christian values and focus on the sanctity of life and marriage. The HR Generalist will work closely with the Director of Human Resources and will be expected to contribute to the overall HR strategy and operations of the organization. In this role, the HR Generalist will serve as the expert user of the HR System (Paycor), ensuring that all HR processes are executed efficiently and accurately. Responsibilities include preparing and performing payroll duties, assisting with benefits administration, and supporting the recruitment process by screening candidates and conducting interviews. The HR Generalist will also be involved in performance management, ensuring that performance appraisals are conducted timely and that all documentation is maintained confidentially in the HRIS system. Additionally, the HR Generalist will assist in employee orientation and training, policy development, and compliance with regulatory requirements. The role requires a proactive approach to employee relations, including conducting entry and exit interviews, and ensuring that the organization adheres to safety and wellness standards. The HR Generalist will also participate in strategic management initiatives and organizational development efforts, working collaboratively with supervisors and other staff members to support the mission of Elizabeth's New Life Center.
