About the position

The Human Resources Generalist at Eaton's Electrical division plays a crucial role in supporting the Dallas facility by developing, implementing, and executing HR policies and programs. This position is integral to driving value for the business and meeting operational metrics, focusing on areas such as recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compensation.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in proactive positive employee relations strategies and initiatives.
  • Drive activities to promote engagement with employees at all levels.
  • Provide counsel and support to resolve interpersonal conflicts and employee relations issues.
  • Investigate and resolve employee relations matters.
  • Implement and administer policies and procedures consistent with the facility's inclusion and diversity initiatives.
  • Drive actions to achieve affirmative action goals and lead outreach efforts with civic and educational institutions.
  • Partner with supervisors to ensure accountability regarding attendance and performance.
  • Establish effective communications to keep employees informed of policies, procedures, and events.
  • Design, implement, and maintain the site communications plan.
  • Provide advanced coaching, consulting, and facilitation skills to influence behavior and business decisions.
  • Support in the areas of compensation and benefits, including salary administration and assisting with wage surveys.
  • Coordinate and administer the performance management process for production teams.
  • Champion employee survey improvement activities through analysis of survey data.
  • Utilize metrics to determine the health of the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of three years of HR Generalist experience.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in human resources, labor relations, or business administration.
  • HR experience in a manufacturing environment strongly desired.
  • PHR/SPHR Certification.
  • Willingness to relocate to other Eaton locations throughout the US for future opportunities.
