Responsibilities

  • Support and oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, including conducting exit interviews and maintaining HR metrics.
  • Engage in recruitment efforts by coordinating strategies and assisting with the transition from hiring to onboarding.
  • Develop, update, and implement HR programs, including job descriptions, training initiatives, and employee development efforts.
  • Administer and manage employee benefits programs, FMLA, and leave policies; coordinate open enrollment and benefits training sessions.
  • Supervise and provide guidance to HR team members, fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Contribute to salary benchmarking, internal policies, and HR compliance initiatives.
  • Serve as a resource for employees by addressing questions and resolving issues in alignment with company policies.
  • Stay informed on HR trends, regulatory changes, and best practices, recommending updates as needed.
  • Participate in professional development initiatives to prepare for potential future leadership opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2-4 years of experience in an HR generalist role, including benefits administration, training, and policy implementation.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing needs.
  • Leadership potential with a desire to grow into a future senior role.
