About the position

TreeHouse Foods is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Oak Brook, Illinois. This full-time, permanent position will report to the Sr. Director of Human Resources and will play a crucial role in supporting and leading innovative people and talent initiatives that empower employees and align with our strategic goals. The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for executing HR program development projects that address the evolving needs of our business and manufacturing workforce. This includes conducting HR data analytics to inform go-forward priorities, drafting professional written communication and training materials, and supporting important data collection and administrative tasks. In this role, you will add value by performing various functions, including developing professional presentations and other communication materials for HR and Operations business partners, utilizing excellent written communication and data visualization skills. You will also conduct research and internal scans to identify best practices, making thoughtful recommendations that drive continuous improvement within the HR function. Additionally, you will provide and critically analyze internal and external HR data to identify trends, process improvement opportunities, and inform go-forward initiatives. Facilitating the creation of HR training materials will also be part of your responsibilities. This position is based on a hybrid schedule, requiring three days in the office, and is designed for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating flexibility in shifting priorities and managing multiple projects while maintaining a high level of accuracy and effectiveness. Responsibilities

• Support and lead innovative people and talent initiatives that empower employees.
• Execute HR program development projects that address the evolving needs of the business and manufacturing workforce.
• Develop professional presentations and communication materials for HR and Operations business partners.
• Conduct research and internal scans to identify best practices and make recommendations for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• One to three years of Human Resources experience with a focus in project coordination and written communications, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience within a manufacturing environment highly preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline highly preferred.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating flexibility in shifting priorities and managing multiple projects while maintaining a high level of accuracy and effectiveness.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Exceptional written communication skills.
• Project management experience desired.
