About the position

The Human Resources Generalist at The Affiliated Santé Group plays a vital role in supporting the HR department's functions, contributing to the overall success of the organization. This position focuses on employee relations, benefits administration, policy communication, compliance preparedness, HR system management, and managing employee leave, onboarding, and offboarding processes.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, including orientation and necessary paperwork.
  • Create exit letters, conduct exit interviews, provide final benefit and pay information, and process termination in benefit systems and other HR systems.
  • Coordinate notifications to other staff as necessary and support unemployment inquiries as needed.
  • Oversee the day-to-day administration of benefit and retirement plans, including enrollment, changes, inquiries, and terminations.
  • Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and conflict resolution, providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.
  • Stay current with labor laws, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and generate HR reports and analytics for management as needed.
  • Participate in the development and revision of HR policies and procedures, communicating changes to employees.
  • Contribute to HR-related projects, such as employee engagement initiatives or process improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years as an HR Generalist or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Experience using ADP's human capital management platform is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of discretion and ability to handle sensitive information.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with strong time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
