The Human Resources Generalist at Specialized Pavement Marking, Inc. is a professional-level role that encompasses a variety of human resources functions. Additionally, the HR Generalist will manage all leaves of absence, including FMLA, disability, and workers' compensation, coordinating with the Company Safety Manager when necessary. Providing guidance to employees and managers on HR policies and procedures is a critical aspect of this role, as is resolving HR inquiries or escalating them as appropriate. The HR Generalist will also be responsible for tracking compliance with mandatory training and continuing education, ensuring that employees meet all necessary requirements. The off-boarding process is another key responsibility, where the HR Generalist will ensure that all termination processes are followed correctly, and final pay is issued in a timely manner. This role will also involve assisting in the communication and rollout of new HR programs and policies, conducting audits of payroll and benefits programs, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of HR trends and regulatory changes.
