About the position

The Merchandiser role involves stocking Hispanic Brands products at customer locations, ensuring optimal product placement and inventory management. The position requires maintaining store shelf standards, providing excellent customer service, and creating reports on merchandising activities.

Responsibilities

• Stock Hispanic Brands products at assigned customer locations.
• Maintain store shelf standards and inventory through various merchandising strategies.
• Ensure pricing matches current promotions and marketing materials are displayed.
• Protect and gain merchandise shelf space for Bar-S products during promotions.
• Provide excellent customer service and assess customer needs to recommend products.
• Maintain excellent working relationships with customers.
• Create weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly reports.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Personal vehicle that meets company standards for licensing and insurance.
• Food handler's permit.
• Driver's License that meets company requirements.
• MVR that meets Sigma driving standards.

Nice-to-haves

• Associates degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
• 1 year of sales experience.
• Food product and/or consumer packaged goods sales experience.
