About the position

Connected Health Care is expanding its Human Resources team to support the rapid growth of our contract workforce. As an HR Generalist, you will be pivotal in managing essential HR functions such as onboarding/off-boarding, benefits administration, payroll processing, and credentialing for our diverse staff of medical travelers and permanent placements in healthcare. This role is crucial in ensuring that our internal processes align with our mission to bridge the gap between inspired people and visionary companies. You will work closely with both candidates and clients to facilitate a seamless hiring process, ensuring that we find the best fit for both parties. Your contributions will directly impact job satisfaction, sustainable income, flexibility, and growth for our team members, as well as meaningful client success by helping them hire team members who make a significant impact in their communities. In this position, you will also be responsible for maintaining compliance with HR policies and procedures, managing employee records, and supporting the overall HR strategy of the organization. You will collaborate with various departments to ensure that our HR practices are effective and aligned with the company's goals. As part of a growing team of over 35 internal employees, you will play a key role in fostering a positive work environment that values work-life balance and encourages personal and professional growth. Responsibilities

  • Manage onboarding and off-boarding processes for employees.
  • Administer employee benefits and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Process payroll accurately and on time.
  • Oversee credentialing for medical travelers and permanent placements.
  • Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
  • Support the HR team in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist in conflict management and resolution within the team.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align HR practices with company goals.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of Human Resources experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher, ideally in HR or a related field.
  • SHRM Certification preferred.
  • Experience with payroll and HRIS systems, preferably Workday.
  • Strong conflict management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the healthcare or staffing industry is a bonus.
  • Familiarity with compliance regulations in HR.
