About The Position

As a Human Resources Generalist at Orrstown Bank, you will play a pivotal role in partnering with internal clients to develop and execute human resources strategies that align with the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization. Your focus will be on key areas such as recruitment, talent management, organizational change, performance management, and regulatory compliance, including the Affirmative Action Plan. You will also be responsible for overseeing compensation strategies to ensure they meet the needs of the organization and its employees. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in human resources to support various initiatives that enhance employee engagement and organizational effectiveness. You will work closely with management to identify staffing needs, develop job descriptions, and implement effective recruitment strategies. Additionally, you will be involved in performance management processes, helping to establish performance metrics and providing guidance on employee development and training programs. Your responsibilities will also include ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations, such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act. You will need to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and discretion while managing sensitive employee information. Your ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, will be essential as you interact with employees at all levels of the organization and present HR-related information to management.
