Oats Overnight is seeking a qualified and resourceful Human Resources Generalist to support our company in ensuring smooth and efficient business operations. The Human Resources Generalist will have both administrative and strategic responsibilities, playing a crucial role in functions such as recruiting/staffing, employee relations and development, and compensation and benefits. At Oats Overnight, we understand that our business thrives when our employees thrive, and it begins with hiring the right people. This position will serve as the HR resource for our Operations department, which includes Production, Quality, Fulfillment, Warehouse, and Customer Service. The HR Generalist will act as a coach and confidant, providing a dedicated and effective HR advisory service to employees covering absence and health issues, conduct and capability, organizational change, and all other employee-relations matters. The role involves conducting New Hire Orientation to welcome all new team members and handling administrative tasks related to the employee life cycle, including data entry in human resources information systems (HRIS) and audits for accuracy and compliance. Maintaining employee files and records in both electronic and paper form is also a key responsibility. The ideal candidate will possess a relentless drive to get things done, a curious and entrepreneurial mindset, and the ability to convey complex messages clearly to various audiences. Flexibility and a willingness to learn new processes and technologies are essential in this fast-paced environment. Oats Overnight values a casual, friendly culture where we take our work seriously but not ourselves. We are a fast-growing company with high growth potential and opportunities for expansion. Every employee is an owner, benefiting from stock options, and enjoys perks like free oatmeal. However, this is not a cushy job; the bar is set high, and the work environment is dynamic and fast-paced. Physical demands include prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, working on a computer, and the ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally. The work is conducted inside an air-conditioned manufacturing and warehouse environment, and employees must maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with ADA, FMLA, and other standards.
