About the position

Hendersen-Webb, Inc. is a prominent leader in the multi-property management sector, overseeing more than 40 communities in the Baltimore metropolitan area. We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist who will play a crucial role in managing the full cycle of recruitment and onboarding processes. This position is essential for providing a variety of technical and administrative support to our HR department. The ideal candidate will be professional, confident, and personable, demonstrating strong organizational skills and self-motivation. This role reports directly to the Vice President of Human Resources, ensuring that our HR functions align with the company's strategic goals. The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent. This includes crafting job descriptions, posting job openings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and facilitating the onboarding process for new hires. Additionally, the candidate will assist in maintaining employee records, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and supporting various HR initiatives. The position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to foster a positive work environment. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or Psychology, along with at least 5 years of relevant human resources experience. A strong understanding of employment law and interviewing techniques is essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must, as the role involves regular interaction with employees at all levels. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel, is required, along with experience in using databases and spreadsheets. Familiarity with the ADP HR and Payroll system is a plus, as it will enhance the efficiency of HR operations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full cycle recruitment process including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
  • Provide technical and administrative support to the HR department.

Requirements
