About the position

As a Human Resources Generalist at Hawaii Family Dental, you will play a significant role in supporting and providing excellent customer service to all employees across the organization. This position is crucial in managing a wide range of HR processes, including payroll, benefits administration, and employee engagement. You will be responsible for ensuring that all HR functions are executed efficiently and effectively, contributing to a positive work environment and supporting the overall mission of the organization. Your contributions will include processing payroll for employees with various pay types, such as hourly, salary, contract, and commission-based. You will also perform benefits administration, which involves managing employee eligibility and change reporting. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee files, records, and documentation with integrity and confidentiality is essential. Additionally, you will coordinate and support new hire orientation and onboarding processes, ensuring that new employees feel welcomed and informed. Supporting employee engagement through communication and activities is another key aspect of your role. You will be expected to perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to contribute to the team's success. Responsibilities

  • Process payroll for employees with different pay types (hourly, salary, contract, commission-based)
  • Perform benefits administration including employee eligibility and change reporting
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files, records, and documentation with integrity and confidentiality
  • Coordinate and support new hire orientation and onboarding
  • Support employee engagement communication and activities
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in HR or business, or work equivalent
  • At least 3 years or more experience in Human Resources and payroll processing
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn Paycom HR & Payroll Software
