About the position

The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for the administration of human resources programs and policies and completing a variety of tasks to support the daily operations of the Lancaster Office. The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for all or part of these areas: Strong employee relations experience, thorough handling of employee investigations, and administering employee performance management. Implements new hire orientation, onboarding, and educating newly hired employees on company policies, internal procedures, and regulations. Maintaining physical and digital files for employees and their documents, benefits, and attendance records. Handles employment-related inquiries from employees and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff. Creates an employee engagement plan fostering the company culture. Assists with leave administration, EEOC Reporting, and Succession Planning. Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance. Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources and employment law. Interviews and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions at the Lancaster office; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • BA/BS or equivalent in Human Resources, Management, or Business.
  • 2-4 years of Human Resources experience.
  • Strong employee relations experience.
  • Ability to handle employee investigations and performance management.
  • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment, including Excel.
  • Demonstrated skills in database management and record keeping.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and coaching skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
