We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Generalist to join our team and support our growing organization. The HR Generalist will play a crucial role in managing the HR functions of Nation Security. This role involves handling a variety of HR tasks, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor laws. The ideal candidate will be a people-oriented professional with strong organizational and communication skills, capable of multitasking and working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full cycle of recruitment, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and hiring.
  • Conduct new employee orientations and ensure a smooth onboarding process.
  • Develop and maintain effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Act as a point of contact for employee concerns and grievances.
  • Foster a positive work environment and promote effective communication between staff and management.
  • Mediate and resolve conflicts within the workplace in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of performance evaluation processes.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees regarding performance expectations and feedback.
  • Help identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, job details, and performance data.
  • Prepare and submit required reports to government agencies as needed.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Communicate and enforce company policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Stay updated on HR best practices and industry trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR role.
  • Knowledge of HR principles, practices, and legal regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.
