The Human Resources Generalist will play a crucial role in the daily operations of the HR department. This position will involve a wide range of responsibilities, including onboarding and hiring processes, data entry, records management, compliance with employment laws, payroll processing, benefits administration, and the enforcement of company policies and practices. The ideal candidate will have experience working in Massachusetts and Connecticut, and will be expected to provide support to our Connecticut location as needed. We are looking for an HR Generalist who has proven experience in the healthcare industry, particularly in the administration of benefits and compensation. A strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and compliance requirements is essential. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to maintain confidentiality, and a strong attention to detail. Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily functions of the Human Resource department.
  • Oversee onboarding and hiring processes for new employees.
  • Conduct data entry and maintain accurate records management.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
  • Process payroll and manage benefits administration.
  • Enforce company policies and practices effectively.
  • Provide support to the Connecticut location as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of related experience in Human Resources, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist.
  • Knowledge of HRIS systems, specifically ADP, and payroll/timekeeping tools.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment laws.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
