The Human Resources Generalist plays a crucial role in supporting the corporate HR functions for Vacatia, Inc. and its entities. This position involves a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes and fostering a positive workplace culture. The HR Generalist will work closely with the corporate HR Director to manage day-to-day HR operations, ensuring that all HR-related inquiries are addressed promptly and accurately. This role is pivotal in building strong business relationships with internal clients and proactively identifying areas for improvement within the HR framework. The HR Generalist will be responsible for managing and assigning JIRA tickets, following up with HR and payroll team members to ensure timely completion of tasks. They will act as the primary point of contact for team members regarding HR-related questions and will assist in the administration of HR documentation and records. This includes managing FMLA/LOA, workers' compensation, and unemployment administration, as well as providing policy and procedure guidance to both internal and external clients. The role also involves assisting with recruitment and employment references, ensuring that the company maintains a high standard of employee relations and compliance with federal and state employment laws. In addition to these responsibilities, the HR Generalist will monitor the company culture and assist in implementing changes necessary to mitigate risks and enhance employee satisfaction. The position is fully remote, requiring the individual to be available during regular business hours and possess a stable, high-speed internet connection. The HR Generalist must be capable of performing their duties independently while also being an effective team player, demonstrating excellent communication skills and a high level of confidentiality in all interactions.
