HealthCareClinics' unique concept of care, with all under one roof, has been described as a “mini hospital”. We are looking for a Human Resources Generalist to join our TEAM! The Human Resource Generalist will run the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices. This role may also oversee the scheduling, assignments, and daily workflow of subordinate staff in the department and assist with constructive and timely performance evaluations. The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for reviewing, tracking, and documenting compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications. The Generalist will recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions, collaborating with departmental managers to understand the skills and competencies required for openings. Additionally, the role involves conducting or acquiring background checks and employee eligibility verifications, implementing new hire orientation and employee recognition programs, and performing routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, morale, occupational health and safety, and training and development. The Generalist will handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff. They will attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations, while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices. The role requires maintaining knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • At least one year of human resource management experience preferred.
  • SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
