About the position

The Human Resources Generalist will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation. This position involves performing various administrative and record-keeping tasks related to staffing changes, including separations. The HR Generalist will be responsible for taking appropriate action against those who violate company rules and regulations, as well as addressing employee grievances. This role is essential for supporting the effective and efficient operations of the organization's human resource department. In addition to maintaining HR files, the HR Generalist will generate official internal documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, salary slips, and warning letters. They will also serve as a point of contact for employees and candidates, answering frequently asked questions related to company policies, benefits, and hiring processes. Maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records is paramount, and the HR Generalist will perform periodic audits to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately. The role also includes conducting new hire onboarding, ensuring that new employees are integrated smoothly into the organization. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, independent, and possess strong attention to detail, demonstrating a willingness to go the extra mile to achieve the right results.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of local laws and regulations related to employment.
  • Understanding of personnel and compliance records management.
