About the position

LRE Water is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join their dynamic Human Resources team in Denver, CO. This role is pivotal in managing a variety of HR functions, ensuring compliance with policies and labor laws, and enhancing employee experience. The HR Generalist will be responsible for employee relations, coaching, and supporting management while fostering a positive workplace culture.

Responsibilities

  • Manage employee relations and provide guidance to managers on resolution strategies while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Monitor and/or handle all local employee concerns and escalate as needed in partnership with management.
  • Manage employee experience in all areas of HR process and implementation.
  • Make recommendations to leadership on company execution as it relates to employee experience.
  • Provide coaching to employees and managers.
  • Act as subject matter expert with employment laws (especially ADA/FMLA) impacting the organization.
  • Identify possible risks and escalate them as appropriate.
  • Provide support and guidance to employees and managers in areas such as conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and HR policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for documentation, record-keeping, auditing, and processing in their area of specialty.
  • Monitor and ensure timely benefits enrollment and coordinate benefit enrollments, qualifying events, and employee inquiries.
  • Coordinate the offboarding of employees and conduct exit interviews independently.
  • Interact professionally both internally and externally, building relationships with carrier contacts and employees.
  • Provide support in identifying, sourcing, and interviewing candidates for open positions.
  • Coordinate the performance review process.
  • Demonstrate continuous effort to work efficiently and identify areas for process improvements.
  • Work with teammates to help achieve departmental goals and provide training to junior staff.
  • Other ad hoc duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 2+ years experience in a Generalist HR function such as HR Assistant, Admin, Coordinator, or Generalist required.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office; HRIS and other software preferred.

  • Knowledge of the professional standards, concepts, and practices of recruitment and selection, employee relations, or organizational development and human resource policy.
  • Ability to analyze, interpret, and evaluate a broad range of laws, rules, and regulations.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Ability to task-switch throughout the day while organizing time and priorities.
  • Ability to perform tasks while paying close attention to details.
