About the position

The Human Resources Generalist at United Employment Group is responsible for managing various HR functions including payroll processing, benefits administration, recruitment, and employee relations. This role serves as a key resource for workplace concerns and ensures compliance with labor laws and company policies while contributing to cross-functional projects and initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Handle payroll processing and ensure accuracy.
• Oversee benefits administration, including enrollments and renewals.
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, and employee recordkeeping.
• Serve as the go-to resource for employee relations and workplace concerns.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
• Contribute to cross-functional projects and company-wide initiatives as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of HR experience, ideally in a small business environment.
• Familiarity with payroll and HR software systems.
• Solid understanding of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
