About the position

The Human Resources Generalist at eWorld Enterprise Solutions, Inc. plays a crucial role in aligning business objectives with employees and management across designated business units. Reporting directly to the Director of Human Resources, this position serves as a consultant on various Human Resource-related issues, acting as both an employee champion and a change agent. The HR Generalist is responsible for assessing and anticipating HR-related needs, proactively communicating these needs with the HR department and business management, and developing integrated solutions that reflect the organization's business objectives. In this role, the HR Generalist will assist the Director of Human Resources with employee experience initiatives and succession planning programs. They will review, track, and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. The HR Generalist will perform routine tasks necessary for designing, administering, and executing human resource programs, which include compensation, benefits, leave management, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, morale, occupational health and safety, and training and development. Additionally, the HR Generalist will be involved in recruiting, interviewing, and facilitating the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions. This includes collaborating with departmental managers to understand the skills and competencies required for various openings. The successful candidate will leverage their extensive HR experience to provide value-added services to both management and employees, ensuring that the HR function supports the overall goals of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Director of Human Resources with employee experience and succession planning programs.
  • Review, track, and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments.
  • Design, administer, and execute human resource programs including compensation, benefits, and leave management.
  • Handle disciplinary matters, disputes, and investigations related to employee relations.
  • Manage performance and talent management processes, including productivity, recognition, and morale initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and training and development programs.
  • Recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions.
  • Collaborate with departmental managers to understand the skills and competencies required for job openings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communication, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field required.
  • At least five years of progressive HR experience required.
  • Experience with investigations and employee and labor relations.
  • SHRM or HRCI certification desirable.
  • Ability to independently investigate, recommend, and resolve employee relations issues.
  • Knowledge of recent federal, state, and case law changes and their impact on HR practices.
  • Experience with HRIS systems is required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in benefits administration is a plus.
  • Familiarity with compliance training and documentation processes.
