LRE Water is on the hunt for an experienced and driven HR Generalist to jump into the action at our Denver office. In this role, you'll be the go-to for a spectrum of HR functions, making sure our policies and programs aren't just followed but thrive. From navigating employee relations and spearheading employee management to ensuring we stay on the right side of labor laws, you'll play a crucial role in shaping a workplace where productivity and positivity flourish. As an HR Generalist, you will be responsible for documentation, record-keeping, auditing, and processing in your area of specialty. You will need to understand federal and state laws and apply them in all areas of HR. Acting as a subject matter expert with employment laws (especially ADA/FMLA) impacting the organization, you will support the HR Manager to resolve issues and provide coaching to employees and managers. You will coordinate recruitment efforts, including job postings, sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews, and facilitating the hiring process. Additionally, you will coordinate and deliver onboarding for newly hired employees, monitor and ensure timely benefits enrollment, and provide support and guidance to employees and managers in areas such as conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and HR policies and procedures. Your role will also involve coordinating the performance review process, offboarding employees, and working with teammates to help achieve departmental goals. You will be expected to demonstrate continuous effort to work efficiently, identify areas for improvement, and suggest and implement process enhancements. This position requires a proactive approach to project management, ensuring tasks are completed within the allotted time frame and producing high-quality work. You will interact professionally with both internal and external stakeholders, building relationships that facilitate effective communication between HR and management.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for documentation, record-keeping, auditing, and processing in their area of specialty.
  • Responsible for understanding federal and state laws and being able to apply them in all areas of HR.

  • Supports the HR Manager to resolve issues.

  • Receive feedback and/or concerns, inform HR Leadership.
  • Consider employee experience in all areas of HR process and implementation and execute per department vision.
  • Coordinate the performance review process.
  • Coordinate the offboarding of employees.
  • Work with teammates to help achieve departmental goals.
  • Provide training and coaching to junior staff.
  • Open to suggestions and new ideas.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 2+ years experience in a Generalist HR function such as HR Assistant, Admin, Coordinator, or Generalist required.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office; HRIS and other software preferred.
  • Knowledge of the professional standards, concepts, and practices of recruitment and selection, employee relations, or organizational development and human resource policy.
  • Ability to analyze, interpret, and evaluate a broad range of laws, rules, and regulations in order to exercise good judgment in applying them to human resource challenges.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels throughout the institution.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Ability to task-switch throughout the day while organizing time and priorities to effectively meet deadlines.
  • Ability to perform a task while paying close attention to details.

Nice-to-haves
