Human Resources Generalist

About the position

The Human Resources Generalist at Casey's General Stores plays a crucial role in supporting the HR functions within the organization. This position is responsible for executing various HR processes, including recruiting, employee relations, performance management, and talent development. The HR Generalist will work closely with business leaders to ensure effective staffing and retention strategies while fostering a positive workplace culture.

Responsibilities

• Interprets and explains human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations.
• Acts as a knowledge multiplier to consistently coach and develop business partners and team members.
• Consults with supervisory personnel to assist with solving problems through human resource and values-based solutions.
• Recommends appropriate methods and techniques for counseling, coaching, corrective action, performance reviews, and conflict resolution.
• Responds to team member relations matters, including intake of alleged harassment, discrimination, or retaliation reports.
• Recommends and assists with the development and presentation of educational materials and training.
• Partners closely with business leaders to ensure training programs are effective and executed to standard.
• Analyzes workforce data, including turnover and team member survey reporting, and presents recommendations for consideration.

Requirements

• Experience in succession planning and talent development.
• Strong knowledge of HR policies and procedures.
• Ability to analyze workforce data and present findings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
