It drives the decisions we make, including the people we choose to join our growing team. Network Health is seeking a human resource generalist to join the team. This individual reports to the Director, Human Resources and serves as a business partner to management on human resources related issues in some or all of the following functional areas: workforce planning, employee relations, training, leadership development, employment, labor law, affirmative action, change management, compensation and recruitment. The generalist assesses and anticipates human resource-related needs and formulates options for business review and decision making. The generalist seeks to foster and develop integrated solutions across the organization and formulates partnerships across all HR functions to deliver value added service to management and employees which reflect the business objectives, strategy and overall culture of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a business partner for leaders to improve their HR process skills, team effectiveness, strategic insight and business performance.
  • Partner with leaders on culture and performance management; provide guidance to leadership related to policies, coaching, counseling, career development, and performance management.
  • Policy development, review and revision for executive approval.
  • Build long term employer brand via community based activities and social media management.
  • Identify workforce trends and use data analytics to make organizational and business unit recommendations.
  • Facilitate 9 Box conversations with leaders.
  • Represent and coordinate business needs and interests proactively across the organization to develop integrated solutions.
  • Analyze and make recommendations to resolve complex employee relations issues in collaboration with leadership.
  • Conduct effective, thorough and objective employee relation-based investigations.
  • Partner with leadership and/or recruitment on compensation recommendations.
  • Partner with leadership to create and review job descriptions.
  • Lead and manage the recruitment and onboarding process to include job posting, recruitment of candidates, initial screening of resumes and candidates, offer negotiations, etc.
  • Partner with leadership to align and execute the HR strategy based on the organizations business objectives and corporate strategy.
  • With or without vendor support may provide backup responsibility for HRIS manager as required.
  • Complete job and market evaluations aligning compensation with internal equity and external market.
  • Partner with leadership on talent planning, employee training and development, employee relations and individual coaching and mediating.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Occasional business travel, overnight stay may be required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 4 years of broadly based consultative human resources responsibilities.
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM SCP required or attained within one year of hire.
