US Farathane is seeking a Human Resource Generalist to join our team in Riverside, MO. As a Human Resource Generalist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our workforce and ensuring compliance with HR policies and regulations. In this position, you will be responsible for accurately processing and transmitting hourly payroll on a weekly basis. You will identify legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resource functions, ensuring that our policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance. Your role will also involve recruiting, interviewing, testing, and selecting employees to fill vacant positions, as well as planning and conducting new employee orientation to foster positive attitudes toward company goals. You will maintain records of hourly personnel transactions, such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting. Advising management on appropriate resolutions for employee relations issues will be a key part of your responsibilities, along with responding to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs. Additionally, you will assist in the performance review program for hourly employees, prepare employee separation notices, and recommend procedures to reduce absenteeism and turnover. Your role will also include representing the organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations, maintaining accurate attendance records, and preparing disciplinary write-ups as necessary. You will develop and maintain job descriptions for all plant personnel and provide key HR input into the development of plant and department strategy goals. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
