About the position

As an HR Generalist at WSB, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the employee experience and supporting the growth of our talented teams across a multi-state environment. You'll work primarily out of our Denver, CO, Austin, TX, or Houston, TX office, with the flexibility to work remotely up to two days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Campus-to-Career Initiatives: Drive our internship program and other talent acquisition efforts, develop and execute summer internship programming, engage with students from top universities, and partner with leadership to recruit, hire, onboard, and engage intern candidates.
  • Own the full onboarding experience from pre-employment requirements to I-9 and Everify completion, ensuring smooth new hire setup in ADP.
  • Be the go-to resource for employees and managers, providing guidance on policies, procedures, and HR solutions.
  • Coach, mentor, and guide managers and supervisors through personnel challenges, fostering a culture of growth and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with the HR Business Partner team on exciting projects across a wide range of HR initiatives such as compliance, HRIS, policies & procedures, recruitment, performance, and general administration.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • A minimum of three years of diverse Human Resources experience, with a proven ability to build relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence a variety of stakeholders.
  • A sharp business acumen and the ability to leverage technology and data to drive efficiencies. Experience with ADP Workforce Now is a plus!
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record, with the flexibility to work from different locations.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the A/E/C industry is preferred but not required.
