About the position

Ace ImageWear is seeking a highly motivated and professional HR Generalist to join their team in Kansas City, MO. This role is essential in providing HR support, managing employee relations, and overseeing various HR functions to ensure compliance and enhance employee satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have over three years of HR experience and will work closely with the HR Manager to implement HR strategies aligned with the company's goals.

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance and support to managers on HR-related matters.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
  • Administer compensation and benefits programs, including payroll processing and managing employee leave requests.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, screening resumes, and conducting interviews.
  • Oversee retention, recognition, onboarding, internal change, and offboarding.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.
  • Administer and coordinate the company's safety program.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Develop and implement employee performance management systems.
  • Occasionally assist the customer service department with internal projects and day-to-day functions such as data entry of customer requests.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of related human resources (HR) experience.
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Experience with payroll processing (ADP preferred).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address employee relations issues effectively.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English skills would be beneficial.
