About the position

The People Leader position at SSP America is a pivotal role focused on enhancing the employee experience within the Support Center office in Ashburn, VA. This role involves designing job structures, ensuring HR compliance, leading employee relations activities, and driving diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. The People Leader will also facilitate new hire orientations and recognition programs, manage headcount tracking, and collaborate across teams to support strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creation and management of job architecture processes.
• Monitor HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
• Handle employee relations matters, including leave administration and accommodations.
• Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts through employee resource groups and training.
• Facilitate monthly new hire orientation sessions and implement employee recognition initiatives.
• Maintain real-time digital headcount tracking systems and prepare detailed reports.
• Document and analyze HR activities to support internal processes and regulatory requirements.
• Build strong cross-functional relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
• Experience in project management and HR compliance.
