The HR Generalist is vital to our ability to enable this culture by partnering with managers and employees to provide comprehensive Human Resources Services. The main responsibilities include: creation and management of site wellbeing programs and initiatives, recruiting and onboarding new staff, and fostering employee engagement through a variety of site activities. This position also assists with site communication locally and globally and serves as a liaison to ensure all employee information is communicated to Novo Nordisk (NN) HR Support services. The HR Generalist will partner with the HR & Talent Acquisition team on all aspects of the recruiting process, which includes the creation of open requisitions, gaining approvals for offers, screening applicants, coordinating and conducting phone and in-person interviews, scheduling onsite interviews, creating offer packets, and processing applicant expenses. Additionally, the role involves managing the summer intern program, representing NNUSBPI at career and job fairs, and supporting new employees once the offer has been accepted, including setting up relocation benefits and onboarding. The HR Generalist will also report on onboarding, wellness, and other HR-related metrics, making recommendations for program enhancements. They will coordinate job shadowing and local school visits, partner with the head of P&O to develop, coordinate, and administer site Wellbeing programs and employee events, and lead the employee engagement group. The role requires assisting employees with finding the right resources to solve their issues and maintaining accurate HRIS systems information for both applicants and employees. The HR Generalist will promote a customer-centered culture that emphasizes outstanding service and meets commitments to the organization, while actively participating in all other Human Resources initiatives and programs as assigned.
