About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Human Resources Generalist to join our dynamic HR team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and fostering a positive workplace culture. This position requires a proactive individual who is passionate about human resources management and committed to enhancing employee engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Be the initial contact for employees and retirees needing Human Resource assistance.
  • Direct inquiries where needed and offer basic information to personal and email requests.
  • Manage the recruitment process, including internal and external job postings.
  • Create, send and electronically file job offer letters.
  • Organize and conduct new hire orientation sessions on a regular and as needed basis.
  • Support affirmative action planning and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Maintain accurate employee records through effective data entry practices and utilization techniques.
  • Collaborate with management on strategies to enhance workforce effectiveness.
  • Utilize software tools such as UKG Ready for HR recruiting processes and reporting.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in human resources management or a related field is essential.
  • Familiarity with HR sourcing techniques and tools is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of affirmative action planning, succession planning, and benefits administration is preferred.
  • Strong data entry skills with attention to detail are required.
  • Experience with employee evaluation processes and performance management systems is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in using HR software such as Taleo and Paychex will be an advantage.
