About the position

The Human Resources (HR) Compliance Administrator is responsible for ensuring that the organization adheres to employment and regulatory requirements. This role involves building a formal compliance program, monitoring legislation, and implementing compliance protocols and resources. The administrator will conduct assessments of HR practices, monitor employment laws, perform audits, and develop training programs to mitigate organizational risks.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with federal and multi-state employment regulations.
  • Conduct assessments of existing HR practices to determine risk profiles.
  • Monitor and identify new and amended employment laws.
  • Analyze and propose guidance for modifying HR procedures.
  • Conduct routine audits of compliance procedures and propose modifications.
  • Develop and maintain compliance resources and communications.
  • Distribute mandated employee notices and maintain documentation.
  • Coordinate data reports for EEO-1 and VETS 4212 filings.
  • Assist in generating annual Affirmative Action Plans and responding to audits.
  • Develop and present regulatory training programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field.
  • Five or more years of experience in human resources.
  • Thorough understanding of federal and state employment laws.
  • Proven ability to research and interpret employment laws.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • One to three years of experience in organizational compliance with employment laws.
  • Prior experience with organizational risk responsibilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in developing proposals and presentations for leadership.
  • Focus on innovation and process improvements.
