About the position

The Human Resources Operations Manager at NBH Bank is responsible for leading and innovating various HR functions, including compliance, talent acquisition, onboarding, HRIS management, compensation management, and performance management. This role requires a deep understanding of HR processes and systems, strong project management skills, and the ability to foster collaboration across teams. The Operations Manager will ensure compliance with employment laws, analyze recruiting trends, and develop strategies to enhance the associate experience while maintaining organizational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and implement various functions within the Human Resources department.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Analyze trends in recruiting and implement competitive compensation programs.
  • Develop trust and build strong professional relationships with associates and leaders.
  • Maximize efficiencies by upscaling current processes and establishing guidelines.
  • Assist with strategy creation, policy management, and designing new initiatives to support associates.
  • Drive communication through various channels and facilitate HR trainings.
  • Maintain business intelligence reports to analyze metrics and measure effectiveness of HR strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of relevant job experience in HR operations.
  • Extensive knowledge of Excel and HRMS software, such as Ceridian Dayforce.
  • Strong project management skills and experience managing cross-functional relationships.
  • Superior organizational skills and attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

  • 12+ years of relevant job experience.
  • Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or PHR/SPHR certification.
  • Prior bank experience.
  • Proficient in HRMS software and engagement software.
