About the position

The HR Specialist position at GenScript involves supporting various HR functions such as employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and policy implementation. Responsibilities

  • Address employee inquiries and concerns regarding policies, procedures, and workplace issues.
  • Mediate conflicts and provide guidance on performance management and disciplinary actions.
  • Conduct employee interviews and analyze feedback for trends.
  • Liaison between US HR and WA site to support HR projects and initiatives.
  • Follow up onboarding/ offboarding process.
  • Assist employees with HR related questions.
  • Take ownership to open the requisition to start the recruitment process to manage entire talent acquisition cycle.
  • Coordinate training sessions on HR-related topics for employees and managers.
  • Support diversity and inclusion initiatives.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and recruitment strategies
  • Strong interpersonal communication skill with the ability to build relationships and handle sensitive issues with high degree of integrity.
  • Self-motivator to solve problems and proactively approach HR and recruiting challenges.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in HR, with a focus on both generalist and recruitment functions.
