About the position

Arconic is currently in search of a Human Resources Intern to join our Corporate Headquarters. As an intern for Arconic HR, you will be a valued member of a high-performance team. This internship is designed to provide you with hands-on experience in various aspects of human resources, including recruitment, employee relations, and performance management. You will have the opportunity to work closely with HR professionals and gain insights into the strategic role that HR plays in supporting the business objectives of the company. During your internship, you will assist in the recruitment process by helping to screen resumes, schedule interviews, and communicate with candidates. You will also support employee engagement initiatives, participate in training sessions, and contribute to the development of HR policies and procedures. This role will allow you to develop your skills in communication, problem-solving, and project management while working in a dynamic and collaborative environment. We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic individual who is eager to learn and contribute to our HR team. This internship will not only enhance your understanding of human resources but also provide you with valuable networking opportunities within the organization. You will be expected to bring your creativity and fresh perspective to the team, helping us to improve our HR practices and enhance the employee experience at Arconic.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the recruitment process by screening resumes and scheduling interviews.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Some college experience is preferred, with a focus on HR or business courses.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous internship or work experience in HR or a related field.
  • Familiarity with HR software or applicant tracking systems.
