About the position

Uponor is offering an exciting ten-week summer internship program in our Human Resources department. You will have the opportunity to work hands on with our Human Resources team performing valuable work supporting recruitment and onboarding processes, organizing employee engagement activities, and assisting with HR data management. During the summer you will connect with leaders throughout the company to learn more about Uponor's products and services and will participate in a variety of training sessions focused on preparation for your future careers.

Responsibilities

• Support Pre-Hire Coordination and participate in New Hire Orientations, including completion of necessary paperwork
• Work with Community Relations Manager on the promotion and communication of events and activities
• Assist with re-branding efforts by updating documents, templates, and presentations
• Maintain employee files and records
• Deliver a demonstration of your findings and recommendations to a leadership panel near the end of your internship
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in: Human Resources, Public or Community Relations, Training and Development, Communications, or related field.
• Must be an incoming Junior or Senior in a degreed program
• Must be a self-starter and be able to work independently.
• Curiosity, coachability and a willingness to engage.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Outgoing personality and a team player.
• Must demonstrate the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
• Proficient in Microsoft office.
