About the position

The Spring 2025 Human Resources Intern will support Talent Managers and HR Business Partners (HRBPs) in managing Talent Management Programs and Projects at Schneider Electric's Fairfield Ohio Plant. This role is designed for students currently pursuing a degree in Business, HR, Psychology, or a related field, and offers the opportunity to work part-time in the spring with the potential to transition to full-time in the summer.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Talent Managers, HRBPs, and People Managers on all aspects of Talent Management.
  • Assist the HR Manager in managing the HR function for an entity/unit.
  • Coordinate and ensure that HR processes and programs are executed correctly.
  • Develop good HR practices for Line Managers and guide them through HR tools, systems, and processes.
  • Ensure a positive social climate within the workplace.
  • Contribute to occupational health initiatives.
  • Participate in employees' professional development.
  • Provide consultation to management on Talent, Performance, and Competency Management topics.
  • Guide and support location employees regarding career advancement and employee relations issues.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, HR, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Ability to start part-time in Spring 2025 with an option to stay full-time in the summer.
  • Willingness to work on-site at the Fairfield Ohio Plant.
  • Passionate about employee engagement and customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to take ownership in dynamic and evolving environments, adapting to changes and challenges with a solutions-oriented mindset.
