About the position

The HR L&D Specialist - Talent Management is responsible for supporting learning and training initiatives within the organization. This role focuses on analytics, assessments, curriculum development, facilitation, and organizational design. The Specialist will coordinate and facilitate various learning events, oversee employee learning activities, and ensure compliance with training requirements through the Learning Management System (LMS).

Responsibilities

  • Support analytics relevant to learning and training offerings.
  • Oversee employee learning activity for the firm community.
  • Research hot HR topics and relevant learning topics.
  • Coordinate, facilitate, support, and track learning and training initiatives.
  • Conduct discovery meetings for new employee and leader learning initiatives.
  • Create, design, and measure outcomes of learning initiatives.
  • Arrange and coordinate logistics for learning events and meetings.
  • Reconcile learning dollars and expenditures with the HR department budget.
  • Provide quantitative and qualitative analysis upon completion of training programs.
  • Deliver in-person New Employee Orientation and other new hire initiatives.
  • Support Organizational Design work through facilitation and coordination of teaming sessions.
  • Utilize the Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure compliance and timely training delivery.
  • Administer and research assessments for new hire needs and skill/talent opportunities.

Requirements

  • BA degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Liberal Arts or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 4 years of training & development experience.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Experience in adult learning development and design.
  • Ability to utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other technology as required.
  • Experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint).
