The Human Resources Manager will provide day to day management and coordination of HR operations related to employee issue resolution, performance management, benefits administration, and staff development for employees of Catholic Charities of Onondaga County and Toomey Residential and Community Services. Benefits Administration: manage and coordinate the agency's employee group benefit programs, including overseeing health, dental, life, short-term disability, FMLA, NYS paid family leave, workers' compensation, and 401(k) plans. Coordinate employee leaves. Insure that employees receive appropriate communications and required notices. Determine eligibility for leave such as FMLA, disability, workers compensation, paid family leave and personal leave following applicable laws and agency policies. Review insurance and retirement plans with employees, assist in the enrollment, changes, and termination process, and handle payroll deductions associated with insurance benefits ensuring accurate documentation and communication with employees and carriers regarding benefits. Manage employee open enrollment, develop and maintain benefit materials. HRIS Administration: serve as the HRIS Database Administrator, ensuring data integrity, developing audit processes, and supporting the HR team in data maintenance, reporting, and analytics, generate reports and correspondence, and provide support for HRIS and payroll systems. Serve as the HRIS security master and be an expert in system management, manage systems changes, implementations and make recommendations to the Human Resources Officer regarding HRIS and integrated systems. Employee Relations: function as the first point of contact for agency-wide employee issues including counseling, disciplinary action, performance management, reward & recognition, and policy interpretation. Coach Managers in communication, feedback, recognition and interaction responsibilities with employees that report to them and implement Performance Management initiatives including the performance evaluation process. Assist the Human Resources Officer in discrimination and other related investigations. Develop and facilitate Agency Wide trainings related to Human Resources. This position is Full time at 35 hours per week with a starting rate of pay of $75,000 annually.
