About the position

Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking a Human Resources Manager to join our team at Hollywood Presbyterian Hospital in Los Angeles, CA. This position is crucial for supporting the human resource functions for both salaried and hourly employees, providing essential administrative support and management guidance for daily HR processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of HR functions, including issue resolution, employee engagement initiatives, talent acquisition, HR metrics reporting, and benefits and payroll assistance. The role requires a proactive approach to developing new skills and making a positive impact for both employees and customers. The job duties may change or new ones may be assigned without formal notice, reflecting the dynamic nature of the HR field. The Human Resources Manager will act as a point of contact for corporate Centers of Excellence (COEs), handling hotline calls, investigations, corrective actions, and policy interpretations. They will also coordinate employee engagement activities and develop action plans to enhance employee satisfaction. In terms of talent acquisition, the manager will be involved in corporate leadership programs and will assist with onboarding initiatives. The role demands strong analytical skills for reporting and analysis, as well as the ability to effectively communicate and consult with various levels of management. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of financial and business objectives, and will be organized enough to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Issue resolution, follow up and recommendations for corporate COEs including hotline calls response, investigation and follow-up, corrective action/performance management consulting, and policy interpretation.
  • Coordinate employee engagement initiatives, including development of engagement action plans and corporate celebration activities.
  • Act as a point of contact for talent acquisition programs such as corporate Accelerate to Leadership and Step up to Leadership.
  • Provide HR metrics reporting and analysis to support decision-making processes.
  • Assist with benefits and payroll as needed, ensuring accurate processing and communication.
  • Oversee onboarding programs and initiatives to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or equivalent.
  • HR/SPHR certification preferred.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications is required.
  • Experience in human resources planning and organizational development is desired.
  • Employment relations experience, including conducting investigations and resolution development, is required.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve practical problems in various situations.
  • Proven ability to effectively interact, communicate, and consult with multiple levels of management on a routine basis.
  • Ability to train and make presentations as needed.
  • Organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks and set priorities in a fast-paced environment.
