About the position

The Human Resources Manager at Mersen is responsible for developing and implementing HR action plans aligned with the company's strategic objectives and operational needs. This role involves ensuring compliance with employment legislation, managing employee relations, and enhancing employee satisfaction through various HR initiatives. The HR Manager will also play a key role in workforce planning, training, and career development while promoting the company's employer brand and CSR initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and obtain approval for site HR action plans and necessary resources.
  • Ensure deployment of HR action plans and compliance with Group/Region standards.
  • Respond to operational staff requests regarding HR matters and assist in strategic decision-making.
  • Implement strategic workforce planning in hiring, training, and career development.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company rules.
  • Initiate social dialogue and negotiate agreements with union representatives.
  • Develop and monitor employee motivation actions and health and safety policies.
  • Coordinate continuous improvement actions in health and safety and other fields.
  • Participate in reinforcing the Group's employer brand through targeted communication actions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in human resources management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with operational staff and union representatives.
  • Ability to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Experience in workforce planning, training, and employee development.
