The Human Resources Manager of Talent Acquisition at Stanford Health Care Tri-Valley plays a crucial role in supporting the organization's commitment to fostering an engaging, inclusive, and productive work environment. The HR Manager will take the lead in creating strategies for effective staffing, employee relations, performance management, training development, benefits administration, and legal compliance. As the Human Resources Manager of Talent Acquisition, you will lead efforts to attract, recruit, and retain top talent in the healthcare industry. You will be responsible for developing and implementing recruitment strategies, sourcing candidates through various channels, and managing the entire recruitment process. Collaborating with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and ensuring the recruitment process aligns with organizational goals will be key aspects of your role. You will oversee the full cycle recruitment process from sourcing to onboarding, build and maintain relationships with key healthcare industry professionals and organizations, and stay current on industry trends and best practices in healthcare recruitment. In this role, you will also provide guidance and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and performance, partner with HR leadership to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and manage all aspects of the recruiting process, including the development of recruitment department strategies. You will utilize data and metrics to track recruitment performance and make data-driven decisions, creating and maintaining recruiting data and metric dashboards to identify continuous improvement opportunities. Your ability to foster effective working relationships and build consensus will be essential as you serve as a seasoned resource to recruitment staff and management in complex issues related to recruiting.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of recruiters to drive recruitment initiatives and meet hiring goals
  • Develop and implement strategic talent acquisition plans aligned with organizational objectives
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies
  • Utilize data and metrics to track recruitment performance and make data-driven decisions
  • Oversee the full cycle recruitment process from sourcing to onboarding
  • Build and maintain relationships with key healthcare industry professionals and organizations
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices in healthcare recruitment

  • Manage and deliver all aspects of the recruiting process, including the development of recruitment department strategies
  • Assist, train, and coach recruiters in conducting best practice standards and processes
  • Develop effective recruitment strategies/campaigns to attract prospects/candidates and maintain a pipeline
  • Use various techniques to source candidates, including online social and professional networks
  • Identify, develop, and maintain internal and external sources/tools to identify qualified job candidates
  • Partner with HR Business Partners to manage the hiring process and establish goals for client satisfaction
  • Create and maintain recruiting data and metric dashboards and identify continuous improvement opportunities
  • Research and analyze various talent acquisition issues and programs
  • Provide and present metrics on assigned programs
  • Create digital presentations to communicate key changes and initiatives
  • Regularly follow-up with business leaders and hiring managers to ensure the quality of candidates and recruitment services

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Master's Degree preferred
  • 5-8 years of progressively increased responsibility in Talent Acquisition
  • Three (3) or more years of leadership experience and managing operational teams
  • Prior experience in healthcare preferred
  • SPHR or SHRM-SCP preferred
  • SHRM Talent Acquisition Specialty Certification highly preferred
  • Knowledge of local, state and federal regulatory requirements related to HR
  • Experience with Talent Acquisition System and Enterprise Resource Planning Software, preferably Workday
  • Demonstrated ability to foster effective working relationships and build consensus
  • Demonstrated ability to apply judgment and make sound decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Demonstrated ability to mediate and resolve complex problems and issues
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, prioritize, work independently and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively both as a team player and leader
  • Demonstrated communication skills (verbal, written, listening, interpersonal and presentations)
  • Ability to adapt to and deal with change and ambiguity
  • Ability to develop business metrics, analyze data, make recommendations and present findings
