About the position

The Town of Weston is looking for a Human Resources Manager to oversee and manage human resources programs and operations. This role involves providing administrative and technical support in various HR functions, including staffing, retention, compensation, benefits, collective bargaining, and personnel policies. The position requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in municipal HR and labor relations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and administer human resources programs and operations for the Town.
  • Oversee staffing and retention strategies.
  • Administer compensation and benefits programs.
  • Facilitate collective bargaining processes.
  • Develop and implement personnel policies and procedures.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and town officials.

Requirements

  • Five years of professional experience in human resources management.
  • Two years of experience in a supervisory capacity.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Administration, Public Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of benefits administration and municipal HR/labor relations principles.

Nice-to-haves

  • Municipal Human Resources experience.
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $90,000 - $95,000 plus benefits.
