About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring that our HR practices align with the company's strategic goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of human resources functions, including talent management, employee relations, and compliance with labor laws.

Responsibilities

  • Develop policies and manage human resources activities such as employment, compensation, labor relations, benefits, training, and employee relations.
  • Ensure positive employee relations within the casino and act as a liaison to all departments on Human Resources measures.
  • Maintain the integrity of the Human Resources systems and ensure compliance with applicable state and federal reporting measures.
  • Analyze wage and salary data to determine a competitive compensation plan.
  • Write directives advising department managers of established or new company policy or procedures.
  • Maintain reporting affecting human resource functions and ensure state and federal compliance.
  • Write and deliver presentations to staff on all levels regarding mandatory topics or company directives.
  • Recruit, interview, and offer all levels of employment to fill vacant positions.
  • Plan and conduct new employee orientation.
  • Keep records of benefit plans participation and assist with annual renewal negotiations and reconciles monthly billing.
  • Maintain records of benefit plans such as group insurance, personnel transactions, and employee statistics for government reporting.
  • Administer accident reporting and prepare required reports for insurance carrier.
  • Coordinate Safety Committee efforts.
  • Prepare employee separation notices and related documentation, conduct exit interviews, and represent the organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations.

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office (Preferred)
  • Professional In Human Resources certification (Preferred)
  • Ability to commute to Crystal Bay, NV 89402 (Required)
  • Ability to relocate to Crystal Bay, NV 89402 before starting work (Required)
