About the position

As a Human Resources Manager at RR Living, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the HR policies and procedures that govern our organization. Your primary responsibilities will include the design, implementation, and administration of HR policies related to salary administration, employment decisions, and performance management. You will ensure that the organization complies with applicable laws and regulations, providing managers with the necessary HR guidance and support throughout the performance and salary review processes. In this role, you will collaborate closely with assigned client groups to understand their objectives, issues, needs, and key success factors, thereby supporting various initiatives. You will participate in planning processes and promote best practices, providing leadership for workforce planning efforts. Your proactive approach will help identify and address human resources challenges and opportunities that may impact the execution of business plans. Additionally, you will work with management to develop high-quality solutions, action plans, and appropriate metrics, which may include creating effective skills and competency structures that align with business goals and talent requirements. You will counsel and assist departments and managers on staff training and development, job assignments, performance appraisals, compensation reviews, disciplinary actions, and promotions or transfers. Investigating complex employee relations issues will also be part of your responsibilities, where you will recommend and implement effective solutions that align with our vision, mission, and cultural values, as well as applicable policies and laws. You will conduct ongoing analysis of the organization’s health by reviewing trends in employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention, making recommendations based on your findings. Your role will also involve performing other projects and assignments as needed, ensuring that HR practices are aligned with the overall goals of RR Living.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the design, implementation, and administration of HR policies and procedures regarding salary administration, employment decisions, and performance management.
  • Ensure organization is in compliance with applicable laws.
  • Provide managers with HR guidance and support for the performance/salary review process.
  • Collaborate with assigned client groups to support initiatives by understanding the organization's objectives, issues, needs, and key success factors.
  • Participate in planning processes and promote best practices; providing leadership for workforce planning efforts.
  • Proactively identify and address human resources challenges and opportunities that may affect the execution of business plans.
  • Assist in the development of strategies for facilitating organizational and behavioral change.
  • Work with management in the development of high-quality solutions, action plans, and appropriate metrics.
  • Counsel and assist departments and managers on staff training and development, job assignments, performance appraisals, compensation reviews, disciplinary actions, and promotions/transfers.
  • Investigate complex employee relations issues and initiate appropriate resolution; recommend and implement effective solutions consistent with our vision, mission, and cultural values.
  • Provide ongoing proactive analysis of the Organization's health by analyzing trends in employee engagement/satisfaction, retention, etc.
  • Work with key metrics, continually reviewing respective functional management information, and make recommendations based on data analysis.
  • Perform other projects/assignments as assigned.

Requirements

  • Expert HRIS systems knowledge, specifically UKG.
  • Knowledge of HR administration procedures.
  • Knowledge of EEO and related labor laws.
  • Knowledge of job analysis.
  • Knowledge of employment laws affecting the workplace.
  • Proven ability to establish trust and build productive relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Recognized as a key resource for employees and managers who is approachable and effectively facilitates coaching conversations.
  • Excellent facilitation and oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prepare clear and concise reports and deliver formal presentations or training to all levels in the organization.
  • A role model of excellent people-practice, leadership, coaching, and motivational skills with a willingness to be hands-on as required in supporting the drive of HR behaviors.
  • Proven ability to deliver in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience in effectively managing a range of tasks and priorities, simultaneously.
