About the position

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Bilingual Human Resources Manager to lead our HR department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that support our business goals while ensuring compliance with employment labor laws and OSHA regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of human capital management, talent acquisition, and employee development. The Human Resources Manager will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive workplace culture and enhancing employee engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the recruitment process, including talent acquisition and onboarding of new employees.
  • Manage employee relations, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts to promote a harmonious work environment.
  • Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
  • Ensure compliance with employment labor laws, OSHA standards, and company policies.
  • Utilize HR software such as Taleo and Paylocity for efficient human resource management.
  • Conduct performance management processes, including evaluations and feedback sessions.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and budgetary requirements.
  • Lead initiatives related to talent management, including succession planning and workforce development.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and prepare reports on HR metrics for senior management.

Requirements

  • Bilingual - must be able to communicate with employees in Spanish
  • Proven experience as a Human Resources Manager or similar role in HR.
  • Strong knowledge of employment labor law and OSHA regulations.
  • Familiarity with HR software systems such as Taleo and Paylocity is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in budgeting related to human resources functions is a plus.
  • A degree in Human Resources Management or a related field is preferred; relevant certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, PHR) are advantageous.
  • Ability to lead training development initiatives that align with company objectives.
